The Garden next to the Bed.

I love Bruce's smile. It's ridiculously huge for his little face. His lips pooch out a little too; one of my coworkers used to say his mouth looked like Homer Simpson's. But it reminds me more of my younger brother, Chris, whose smile almost reaches his ears when he's excited.
Bruce loves to eat frozen peas, carrots, and corn like its candy or something. Maybe that's a little weird, but I'm glad he likes it.
Here is our garden! It is currently sitting next to our bed under a window, where it will stay for a few more weeks until it warms up a bit here. Bruce was VERY excited to plant the garden. He helped me buy the seeds and peat pots. Then he helped me dig up some dirt, distribute it, and plant all the seeds. Now hopefully they'll survive; Bruce's green bean from a few weeks ago got nice and tall, then got broken when Bruce had his fake snake pretend to eat the plant. Oops.
Here's a survivor. This may be the first house-plant we've had that has bloomed twice.
Scott and Bruce watch ski movies almost every night. Scott is preparing for a ski trip up to Tuckerman's Ravine on Mt. Washington. We hiked this last summer, and Scott is ready to go down the mountain a bit faster. Anyway, Scott talks endlessly about the "awesome lines" and Bruce stares blankly for the most part, occasionally requesting to watch "Unka Mahhhk" (Uncle Mark, the amazing 14-year-old ski bum).
